After a lifetime obsession with cars, March of 1996 seemed like the right opportunity to become a 4th generation entrepreneur. While working for another detailing company for almost six years, I learned the ropes from some of the industries best. With a loan from my sister and support from several close friends Auto Spa was born.

In the early days, we had just one bay and there were only two of us. We worked unbelievable hours to accommodate everyone and we were instantly booked. Palmetto Bay Road was two lanes and the Cross Island Parkway was just a discussion.

When the customers were taken care of, my attention turned to another love, motorcycles. As an amateur road racer, I enjoyed working hard so I could play harder but after a couple of fun seasons I realized that I should focus all of my efforts on growing Auto Spa.

Over the next several years, Auto Spa grew not only in size but also by adding services that we are known for today. In 2002 we added Window Tinting to our menu of services and have become the premier window tint installer in the area. In 2004, we became Beaufort County's only 3M Certified Window Tint shop. In 2005 we were certified for Paint Protection installation by XPEL. We have also completed XPEL’s Advanced Training Course at their facilities in Texas and over the course of the next few years, we worked with the nations top installers to learn the tricks of the trade. Now after hundreds of installations, we are considered to be the best in the area.

We have always put our customers first and because of this, they have continued to put Auto Spa at the top of their lists. As we celebrate 20 years we are thankful for our loyal customers and we look forward to what the future has in store for us.
